JNG Technical Services
JNG Technical Services was founded by Neil Gilley in 2016 after more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. Neil devoted 22 years performing dismantle, inspection, re-assembly, and functional test of numerous gas turbine engine models, by a number of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). In 2008 he was tasked with designing a proposal to create the occupation of a Gas Turbine Repair and Overhaul (GTRO) Technician as an official trade recognized by Apprenticeship Manitoba where he remains co-chair of the provincial advisory committee for GTRO.
Neil is a journeyman mechanic with experience in the marine, automotive, transport, heavy equipment, and aviation industries.
Goal & Focus
JNG Technical Services is here to provide technical training evolved through Neil’s passion for development of training and course material, and was developed to assist companies attain accredited technical training and experience for employees working on gas turbine engines, as well as numerous related trade skill requirements.
Advantages
We will provide customized training classes to meet your learning objectives through the experiential learning cycles, including an evaluation to verify objectives have been met. The Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (CCAA) recognized training course material is based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) provided by CCAA.
Although Aviation clients are a large part of JNG Technical Services customer base, many other trades can benefit from common mechanical skills, such as precision measurement, drawing interpretation, assembly and torque of threaded joints, and any additional skill sets that can be developed based on historical errors and quality escapes.
